Summary
- We only collect the data needed to run the features you use: drafting, scheduling, and publishing content to your social media accounts.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not use data from social media platforms for advertising.
- You can disconnect a social media account, delete your Kelola Konten account, or ask us to delete your data at any time.
Who we are
Kelola Konten is a social media planning and scheduling service available at app.kelolakonten.com, operated by the Creativism team in Indonesia. In this policy, "we" means the operator of Kelola Konten and "you" means the person using the service.
Kelola Konten is built on the open source software Postiz. The application source code is publicly available on GitHub.
Information we collect
Account data
When you sign up, we store your email address, organization name, name, profile photo (if you upload one), and your password as a hash, so nobody, including us, can read the original password. If you sign in with Google, we store your email address and Google account ID.
Social media accounts you connect
When you connect a channel, we store the access token issued by the platform, the account or Page ID, and the name, username, and profile photo of that account. The details for each platform are listed under Facebook, Instagram, and Threads and Google and YouTube.
Content you create
Text, images, videos, publishing schedules, internal notes, team comments, and approval status are stored so your team can manage them and so they can be published on schedule.
Technical data
Like most web services, our servers log IP addresses, browser type, and access times for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Waitlist
Before sign up opened, some people left their email on the waitlist on this website. That email, the role they selected, and the sign up time are only used to send the updates they asked for.
Data from Facebook, Instagram, and Threads
Kelola Konten uses the official Meta APIs. We only request the permissions needed for the features you use, and you see the list of permissions on Meta's consent screen before you approve it.
If you use the analytics or comments features and grant the related permissions, we also read post and account insights (such as reach and engagement) and the comments on posts published through Kelola Konten, only to show them to you inside the app.
We do not sell data received from Meta, use it for advertising or ad profiling, pass it to data brokers, or use it for any purpose other than the features you request. Our use of this data follows the Meta Platform Terms.
Data from Google and YouTube
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID to create and open your account. If you connect a YouTube channel, we receive an access token and basic channel information to upload the videos you schedule and to show their statistics.
Kelola Konten's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use data
- To create, secure, and run your account, including sign in, activation, and password resets.
- To publish content to the platforms you choose, at the time you set.
- To show insights and comments from the accounts you connect, when you use those features.
- To send service emails, such as verification codes, email change notices, team invitations, and publishing failure alerts.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix technical problems.
We do not use your content or your social media account data to train artificial intelligence models.
Storage and security
Data is stored on servers we rent from a cloud provider. All connections to Kelola Konten use HTTPS. Passwords are stored as hashes, database access is limited to the people who operate the service, and email verification codes are short lived and can only be used once. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data and keep improving them.
Data retention
- Account data and content are kept while your account is active.
- Tokens and social media account data are kept while the channel is connected. When you delete a channel or remove Kelola Konten's access on the platform, the token is no longer used.
- When an account is deleted, personal data such as email, name, and tokens are deleted or replaced with irreversible random values.
- Server logs are kept for as short a time as possible for security purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, and to withdraw any consent you have given. You can do most of this yourself in the app:
- Change your name, photo, email, and password in Settings, Profile.
- Disconnect a social media account from the menu next to the channel name.
- Delete your account in Settings, Global Settings, Delete Account.
For any other request, reach us at the address in Contact.
How to delete your data
There are three ways. Choose the one that is easiest for you.
1. From the Kelola Konten app
Sign in at app.kelolakonten.com, open Settings, choose Global Settings, then click Delete Account. Your account, organizations, channels, and posts will be deleted.
2. From your Facebook, Instagram, or Threads settings
When you remove Kelola Konten's access on a Meta platform, we receive an automatic notification and immediately disconnect the related channels. If you also request data deletion, we delete the tokens and profile data of those channels right away, and Meta shows you a confirmation code.
- Facebook: Settings and privacy, Settings, Apps and websites, select Kelola Konten, then Remove.
- Instagram: Settings, Apps and websites, Active tab, select Kelola Konten, then Remove.
- Threads: Settings, Account, Website permissions, Active tab, select Kelola Konten, then Remove.
3. By email
Send an email to hello@kelolakonten.com from your account email address with the subject "Delete my Kelola Konten data". We process the request within 30 days and confirm by email once the data has been deleted.
Children
Kelola Konten is built for businesses, creators, and agencies. The service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you learn that a child's data is in our service, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the latest version will be published on this page along with its effective date. For important changes, we will also notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
